AION PROPERTIES ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION INITIATIVE

In 2020, an environmental conservation initiative was launched at Aion Properties where staff were encouraged to participate in projects which impacted positively on the environment.

In January 2021, 300 trees were planted at the Green Pastures Tabernacle Church on Ngong Road. Volunteers from the church joined the Avenue 5 staff to plant trees around the perimeter of the church which will greatly enhance the beauty of the compound once the trees mature. We sensitized the church members on maintenance of the planted trees to ensure high survival rates.

There is a tentative tree planting event scheduled for April 2020 at the Kilimani Police Station where we envision to plant 1,000 trees.

Plans are also underway to introduce waste management at Avenue 5 where waste will be segregated into food and non-food waste.
